I started out as an understudy for a renowned makeup artist in Singapore. Interest turned to passion and I found myself taking up workshops by Taiwan makeup guru and then masters course at Kanebo Makeup Institute Tokyo Japan.
This amazing journey would not have been possible without encouragement and guidance by these loving teachers.
A makeup artist is like a magician, transforming faces and hearts.
There is satisfaction seeing a face transformed and radiance bursting forth. There is joy in making someone beautiful for the day, seeing her walk out with confidence.
There is pride, when I see someone walk in, from not knowing anything about makeup, to learning while fumbling a little, to being able to put on her own makeup, then coming back later fully made up with a touch of her own style.
There is thankfulness, in all whom I have come into contact with, for liking my makeup skill, for a chance to work with you, for not forgetting to take care of me despite you are the star, and for enriching my life experience.
