Daniel Parker

Hello there, my name is Daniel Parker and I’m a freelance photographer based in Singapore. I specialise in newborn, maternity and family shoots but I also provide engagement and wedding photography services too.

I started Vision Photography with the support of my loving wife and soul mate, Chanelle, from a little flat in the heart of central London in 2014. There are many things I enjoy about being a photographer, but, most of all, I love helping people capture beautiful memories from the most important times in their lives, and seeing the joy my photos bring to them.

My newborn and family sessions tend to be close to home, in Singapore. I figure weddings and babies go hand in hand, right? As a maternity, newborn and family photographer, sharing these intimate moments with you makes me feel especially privileged.

Being based in Singapore allows me to easily travel to a wide range of popular wedding destinations across Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and, of course not forgetting, Singapore. Having got married in Bali myself, I understand just how perfect these locations can be for a wedding setting.

A British-born, self-confessed ‘cheeky chappy’, I’m a photography-obsessed, fun-loving adventurer who simply loves to tell a story through the lens. I was originally inspired by less talkative subjects as I first got hooked on photography whilst taking photos of all things weird and wonderful under the sea. I later thought to myself, ‘I quite like this photo lark, why not try it on land with some humans?’ So I did, and as they say…”The rest is history!”

When I’m in my studio I love using creative lighting techniques to create unique photos. Outside of my studio I pride myself on having a natural, candid, yet arty style of photography, making you feel as relaxed as possible whilst capturing those priceless moments of you and your loved ones. At times, you’ll barely even know I’m there.
